*It should be noted that this pattern has not yet been tried. I originally created the mini dres using a Monster High create your own monster doll, and discovered that the dress turns out quite loose for a regular Monster High doll. The dress in the photo is the mini dress that is slightly too loose. The pattern provided has been adjusted to what I think will work better, but I have not yet tried it to be certain. If you give it a go, let me know how it works out. Plus, if you want the original pattern for the mini dress that will fit the create your own monster doll, it is exactly the same, though you start out with 35 chains instead of 29, and decrease 1 stitch (5 times instead of just 1 time) in the 11th row with *.

This pattern was so easy and quick to whip up. I connected the dress at the top instead of at the hip and was still able to slip over an original monster high doll with it not being to baggy after. Thank you! My daughter will love it!
