ever after high and monster high top crochet pattern
Created by paperdollmom, Copyright 2014
materials: Patons Kroy Sock Yarn and a size 2 hook
Starting at the bottom of the shirt:
-chain 34, DC in second from the hook
-DC across the row, chain 2, and turn
-DC across 1 more row (a total of 2 rows now), chain 2, turn
-DC across while decreasing 1 stitch 5 times (spread out throughout the row), chain 2, turn
-now you should have 28 sts in the row, DC across for 3 rows (remembering to chain 2 and turn at the end of each row)
-DC in the first 5 sts, chain 4, skip 4 sts and DC in the 5th, DC in the next 9 sts, chain 4, skip 4 sts and DC in the last 5 sts of the row
-chain 1, turn, SC across the row
-now you immediately begin to slip stitch the back of the shirt closed, from the top to the bottom
-finish off
*This top pattern will fit Ever After High dolls, and Monster High dolls. I created this pattern specifically for the Ever After High dolls, so this means it fits a little looser on the Monster High dolls, as they have a smaller body. However, I think it looks great on both dolls!

Would be nice to have each row # and also how many stitches in each row.
ReplyDeleteAs an experienced crocher, I even had to do this, some new to crocheting would have a problem
This is how I write and create them, if my patterns don't work for you, I'm sure you can find others. I may not approach patterns in the same way, but I still share them for free for those who can use them, even if it requires a little counting on your part. You're welcome! :)
